SuperJuana Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow
Every Juana has her own story to tell and share. It might be a fairytale, a tragedy, or maybe from rags to riches, but it doesn't matter what kind of story it was. What matters most is how you touch, inspire and change others' lives for their betterment.
In the past centuries, there was gender inequality or discrimination between men and women. Men dominate women. Women were treated as non-existent, degraded, and neglected in society. They were purely a homemaker, just a housewife, and not even a decision-maker. Their voices were never heard. But the pursuit of gender equality continued. Women fight for their rights and privileges. No matter how tough and hard the situation was, women stood firm and dared to break the barrier of prejudice and bias against men for a sustainable tomorrow. Women's road to gender equality is an uphill battle. Throughout history, women have a part in seeking our country's freedom, yet in today's pandemic, women have proven their strength and resiliency, selfless love, and compassion. Races, language, beliefs, or even religion don't matter.
There is a lot of evidence now that Juana is making noise in our society. They work hard for it to at least prove to society their worth and capabilities in helping our society for a sustainable tomorrow. Yes, indeed picture shows a thousand words.
Just like the RHU of Municipality of Caoayan headed by Dra. Edna Rabena. She's a woman of compassion and commitment. Together with her medical frontliners, they remind us to always follow health protocols and they push vaccination for everyone's safety. As a matter of fact, they go to every barangay just to make sure that everyone is vaccinated.
Another empowered woman in today's pandemic is no other than honorable Mayor Germelina Goulart of LGU Caoayan. Her leadership is always outstanding, especially in these difficult times, for she acts immediately and responds reproductively to netizens' basic needs.
Teachers are the pillars of education, and in today's pandemic, Mrs. Rochelle Peña Rabe has always proven her dedication and service to today's pandemic. The impact of today's pandemic is a great challenge to all educational institutions, but to Ma'am Rochelle, there is no hindrance to imparting knowledge to her students.
Throughout history, women fought with courage and have taken exemplary roles and responsibilities that led to remarkable progress in our society. A woman with a strong mind and a good heart can significantly empower every life despite religion, beliefs, color, and race. Indeed Juana is a superwoman in their own story where there is no limit to what women can accomplish. Juana is empowered to serve and inspire others to change the world and make a difference for a sustainable tomorrow.
